The Big Search is a global talent advisory firm partnering with the world’s leading investors and technology companies shaping our future.


We’re a consulting organisation helping founders scale great companies, and we’re a technology company building the operating system for independent search consultants called Navis. In 2 of the 3 last years we’ve grown by 100-150% yoy (the other one was COVID 2020) and are aiming for similar numbers in the coming years. It’s a pretty fun ride!


Our team started in Amsterdam but has now grown to London, Berlin, Skopje, Belgrade and Budapest – and that’s just the beginning. The Role


Research is the core of our services. This role is in the frontline and plays an integral part in providing a world-class service to our candidates and clients. You will be working alongside your teammates from the Research team to find and source top-tier talent.


Critical for this role is great research and sourcing skills, excellent English skills, both verbal, and written, great communication skills and curiosity.


Research Analysts are supported by the People team, Ops, Data, and of course Product & Engineering to make sure that they have all the resources, tools, and knowledge to be successful and grow in their roles. 



You will: 


  • Think holistically about how and where to source for top talent
  • Do extensive research on our clients, the industries they operate in and their competitors
  • Translate Job Descriptions and requirements into search strategies, candidate personas and lists of targeted companies where you will source the talent
  • Partner with the Research Lead to effectively profile key search criteria and skill sets for each role, generate ideas around developing the sourcing strategy, communication and the hunting grounds



You have: 


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written. (min. B2 level)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of the technology world and what business models and companies are shaping the future
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and analytical frame of mind
  • Creative, well organized, accurate, flexible personality and you thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Team player attitude
